Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide high-quality in-home care for clients across various needs. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support patients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Help with appointment scheduling and transportation arrangements as needed
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and document observations accurately
- Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home health care is preferred
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices for dementia and hospice patients is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential for providing compassionate patient care
- Relevant certifications in caregiving, medication administration, or nursing assistance are advantageous but not mandatory
