Hive Cannabis is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team in Terrace!
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys connecting with customers, and can provide knowledgeable, welcoming service in a fast-paced retail environment.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate has:
- Strong weekend availability, particularly Saturday–Sunday from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Some weekday availability and flexibility for closing shifts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive, dependable, and professional attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An interest in cannabis and a willingness to continue learning about products and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
- Previous retail, customer service, or cannabis experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person
Responsibilities
As a Budtender, you will:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Help customers select products based on their needs and preferences
- Process sales accurately through our POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store
- Receive and organize inventory
- Follow all LCRB and store policies and procedures
- Complete opening, closing, and daily store duties as required
- Maintain a high standard of compliance and attention to detail
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

Availability
Weekend evening availability is a key requirement for this position. Applicants must be available for regular shifts between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM on weekends, with some flexibility to work weekday closing shifts as needed.
