The Role
HBI Office Plus is looking for a dependable, hardworking Furniture Installer to join our Regina furniture installation team.
Our installers are responsible for delivering, assembling, installing, and reconfiguring commercial office furniture for our customers. Projects range from individual office setups to large-scale installations involving workstations, private offices, boardrooms, and other commercial spaces.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job properly, and works well as part of a team.
What You'll Do
As a Furniture Installer, you will:
- Deliver and install commercial office furniture at customer locations
- Assemble desks, workstations, tables, storage units, seating, and other office furniture
- Install and reconfigure modular and systems furniture
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Move, relocate, and remove existing furniture
- Read installation instructions, floor plans, and basic drawings
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Protect customer property and work areas during installations
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
- Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect product and communicate issues to the appropriate team members
- Work collaboratively with other installers, project coordinators, sales representatives, and customers
- Follow company safety procedures and safe work practices
- Assist with warehouse and furniture-related duties when required

- Is comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day
- Can safely lift and move furniture and other heavy items
- Has good mechanical aptitude and is comfortable using hand and power tools
- Pays attention to detail and takes pride in the finished product
- Can follow instructions while also solving problems on site
- Works well with others and contributes positively to a team environment
- Is professional and respectful when working in customer facilities
- Can work independently when required
- Is willing to work flexible hours when project schedules require it
Previous experience with office furniture installation, construction, moving, carpentry, warehousing, or another mechanical trade is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to reliably report to work in Regina
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or extended hours when required by project schedules
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
