Sudbury Solar Solutions is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Off-Grid Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Sudbury, Ontario.
This is a full-time in-store position focused on helping customers find the right off-grid power solutions for cabins, homes, RVs, trailers, camps, and backup energy systems. Our product lineup includes lithium batteries, solar equipment, inverters, generators, propane appliances and systems, portable power stations, and a wide range of off-grid components.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable learning technical products, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and by email
- Recommend off-grid power solutions based on customer needs
- Learn and understand our battery, solar, inverter, generator, propane, and portable power product lines
- Prepare quotes and process sales orders
- Help maintain a clean, organized showroom and warehouse
- Assist with receiving inventory and loading products for customers
- Work closely with our team to provide a positive customer experience
Qualifications:
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Interest in renewable energy, off-grid systems, RVs, marine, electrical, or technical products is an asset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Ability to lift and move some heavier products
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
