In the role of Room Attendant, you are responsible for maximizing our guest satisfaction by ensuring all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared to the highest standard.
Primary Room Attendant Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning service to guest rooms.
- Assist with public areas and laundry, as needed.
- Assist with guest requests.
- Follow any policy and procedures in place, especially regarding health & safety.
- Provide service with a smile.
Schedule Requirements:
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Shifts will be scheduled for 8.5 hours, including unpaid 30 minute break.
- Shifts may be scheduled between 8am and 8pm.
- June - September: 32-40 hours a week are expected.
- Until May and from October onwards: hours will be limited and possibly on-call.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Able to remain motivated when working independently, as well as working well as part of a team.
- Ability to perform continuous physical work throughout an 8-hour shift, including but not limited to; standing/walking for long periods of time, frequent bending, stretching and reaching, and able to lift/push 25-50 lbs comfortably.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule that includes evenings, weekends and on-call shifts.
