Legends Haul is a food manufacturer and distributor of consciously sourced or produced products to BC's best restaurants and retailers. We are a fast paced team that thrive in constant creation. Since our conception in 2018 we have undergone many phases to stay current in the food climate we live in. Today we could not be more proud to reside in a cutting edge facility in East Vancouver. There we employ a dynamic team of individuals all working together to create new products, support our local food eco system, and grow our business together.
Today, our focus is on sustainably sourced center of the plate items as well as a growing list of in-house, value add brands and products such as Chateau Water and WOOZAS. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Burger Machine Operation: Operate and maintain burger preparation equipment, ensuring quality and consistency in food production. Adhere to safety and hygiene standards while efficiently managing ingredients and assembly processes.
- Packaging Operations: Operate packaging machinery and equipment to efficiently package products according to established Legends Haul guidelines
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for quality, ensuring that they meet company standards and customer specifications
- Weighing and Labeling: Weigh and label packaged meat products accurately, ensuring correct quantities and proper labeling
- Inventory Support: Collaborate with inventory management personnel to keep track of packaged products, and support accurate inventory counts
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 60lbs of products and stand for up to 4 hours in a cold environment, maintaining a safe and clean work area
- Cross-Training: Willingness to undergo cross-training in different areas of the production process as required, supporting overall team flexibility
- Adherence to Safety Procedures: Strictly follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Keep workstations and packaging equipment clean and sanitized to meet hygiene standards and prevent contamination
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in a packaging or production environment is beneficial but not mandatory; entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic
- Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting up to 60lbs and standing for extended periods in a cold environment
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to product quality, packaging accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, supporting other team members when needed
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in various roles within the production team based on the company's needs.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to convey any concerns or issues to supervisors effectively
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to packaging processes and machinery
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability to meet production targets and deadlines.
