Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet established standards and guest expectations
- Manage menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory control to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a cohesive and motivated team
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with hospitality industry standards
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, providing leadership and problem-solving as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as a leader in a fine-dining, full-service restaurant
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
