Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures clearly and provide accurate estimates for labor and parts costs
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle health and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, services performed, and follow-up actions
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive sales or service advising
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to effectively communicate technical information
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to upsell services confidently while prioritizing customer needs
- Experience with automotive repair processes and terminology
- Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial transactions
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
