Towns Construction Inc. is looking for a motivated, dependable Carpenter / Renovation Technician to join our growing team.
We are a quality-driven renovation company specializing in residential renovations, basement developments, and light commercial construction throughout Calgary.
This role is ideal for someone who already has some construction or renovation experience, works hard, and wants to grow into a higher-level role within a professional construction company.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new skills, and wants to develop into a strong carpenter over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with residential and light commercial renovation projects
- Framing walls, backing, and small structural adjustments
- Installing doors, trim, and finishing carpentry
- Supporting drywall prep, flooring installs, and general renovation work
- Performing demolition and site preparation when needed
- Keeping job sites clean, organized, and professional
- Working closely with our site lead and learning to take on more responsibility over time
- Helping keep projects moving between subcontractor trades
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years construction or renovation experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with framing, doors, trim, flooring, or drywall is an asset
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and shows up ready to work
- Willing to learn and improve skills on the job
- Ability to work independently once given direction
- Good communication and teamwork
Plumbing or electrical knowledge is a bonus but not required.
