Prestige Cleaning Niagara is hiring a part time with potential of becoming full time, Residential (House) Cleaner. Minimum 1 year similar experience is preferred. We do train, and provide all supplies. It is a requirement to be reliable, your team and clients count on quality and being punctual (showing up to each shift, and on time).
Our main service areas are St Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Niagara On The Lake. We do however also service homes in the surrounding areas as well (Welland, Fort Erie, Lincoln). So it is a requirement to be able to travel to these areas. We are a family run business, so we do require everyone to be friendly and get along with team members, clients, etc. Communication is key.
Requirements:
-G Class License and a reliable vehicle for daily transportation between jobs
-Room in the vehicle to carry company provided supplies
-Ability and willingness to travel to the above mentioned areas/cities
-Ability to wash the microfiber cloths and mop heads used in each clean
-Clean Criminal Record (Will need to submit upon hiring)
-Monday-Friday 9am-5pm availability. If you also have some weekend availability, it is a bonus but not required. If you do have another part time job, please let us know which days and times from Mon-fri you are available. It must be between the hours of 9am-5pm with at least 3.5 hours available each time.
-Attention to detail -Ability to handle repetitive tasks (Especially standing and bending for extended periods of time)
-Cell data to be able to access our online (app) scheduling system and GPS
-No allergies to household chemicals (some have scents-we do use most eco friendly supplies, however we do also use pinesol which has a strong scent)
-No allergies to pets, as most homes do have a cat or dog. Quite often the dogs are out away in a different room during the clean, but the hair is still around/needs to be cleaned
We perform both deep cleans and standard maintenance cleans.
Deep cleans are an extra thorough cleaning/extra scrubbing where required. Including shower grout, heavy grease in kitchen, etc. It also includes handwashing all details such as baseboards, all trim, doors, light switches and fixtures, spot cleaning walls, etc. We do often clean the interior windows (including glass, frames, tracks, etc. and screens, and blinds/shutters), inside of the oven, and fridge.
Standard maintenance cleans include a general clean (but still thorough) of the exterior of everything in the kitchen (plus interior of the microwave), bathrooms, dusting (including baseboards), and vacuuming and mopping floors.
Hourly wage starts at $21.00 per hour, always a minimum of 3 hours paid per shift. $40 per paycheque (bi-weekly) for gas allowance once we get a few days a week for you.
