Role Summary
BASE is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated individual to join our Grande Prairie office as Receptionist. As the first point of contact for clients, contractors, developers, and the public, you will play an important role in supporting our team and maintaining exceptional client service. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn about our industry, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer and direct client phone calls in a professional and diligent manner.
- Greet and direct walk-in office clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Oversee office areas for general cleanliness to ensure all areas are “client ready”. This includes scheduling dumpster/recycling pickups, general tidying/maintenance of common areas or shared spaces and ensuring third-party janitorial duties have been completed.
- Maintain and order office supplies to ensure cost efficiency and adequate inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate project/ client records, support digital filing systems.
- Arrange flights, transportation, and hotel accommodations for staff.
- Prepare, format, and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence as needed.
- Process and organize paperwork, forms, and office documentation.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks.
- Support company operations by handling general inquiries and directing requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Courier preparation and general shipping administrative support as required.
- Provide overall administrative support to the business.
- Fill in for other admin when out of office for vacation, sickness, etc. as required.
- Troubleshoot and arrange services for printers.
- General archiving and recordkeeping.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate or diploma in office/business administration or similar field preferred.
- Advanced desktop computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Introductory experience with Land Titles, General Land process, and Land Survey terminology considered an asset.

Hours: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
