Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Coordinator to support our team in day to day operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in supervising teams. The Assistant Coordinator will work closely with the board and store coordinator to ensure smooth operations across multiple departments.
Duties
- Assist in planning, staffing, organizing and pricing of goods
- Supervise and support team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote sales and merchandise
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping as required
- Provide training to new volunteers
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adequate staffing and resources
Requirements
- Experience in a retail environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Administrative experience including scheduling and documentation would be an asset
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding new volunteers
- Good communication skills—both written and verbal

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
