Dog Lovers Playground Ottawa is Hiring!
Dog Lovers Playground® is excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new Ottawa location at 280 Catherine Street, and we're looking for passionate, experienced professionals to join our founding team.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new location from the ground up while making a meaningful impact in the local dog-loving community.
We're seeking candidates with experience in dog training, grooming, dog handling, and team leadership. Professional certification or proven hands-on experience in dog training and/or grooming is considered a strong asset.

What You'll Do
- Provide safe, professional, and compassionate care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Assist with dog training, handling, enrichment activities, and daily operations.
- Support grooming services (where applicable).
- Lead by example and help foster a positive, team-oriented workplace.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while building strong relationships with clients.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners.
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of new team members while following company policies and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, grooming, training, or other professional pet care environment.
- Dog training and/or grooming certification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience or the ability to confidently guide and support a team.
- Confidence handling dogs with different personalities, breeds, and energy levels.
- A genuine passion for positive reinforcement, responsible dog care, and creating enriching experiences for every dog.
