We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, document management, and record keeping
- Provide front desk support, including greeting visitors and managing multi-line phone systems
- Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Support customer service efforts by responding to inquiries professionally and courteously
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Maintain organized office files both digitally and physically
- Support medical or dental office administrative tasks as needed, including patient check-in and insurance documentation
- Perform other clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and mailing
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Office experience, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and typing accuracy
- Previous clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems
- Attention to detail for proofreading and data accuracy
- Ability to handle filing systems efficiently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prior experience in medical or dental office administration is a plus but not required
