Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic with 2-3 years of experience to support our maintenance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will assist with routine tasks, learn technical skills, and contribute to the smooth operation of equipment and machinery. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic mechanical knowledge are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Assist experienced mechanics with repairs, installations, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing troubleshooting procedures
- Help with cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in learning mechanical systems
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
- Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
