Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):
Education:
1. Master teacher with an MA in a relevant field (ie. Curriculum studies, leadership or school administration) and/or extensive relevant experience.
2. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset
Experience:
1. Expert knowledge of:
Organizational theories and practices of educational leadership.
Understandings and theoretical background of educational organizations in contemporary educational settings including but not limited to elementary and high schools and alternative schools, educational non-profits, or educational businesses.
Wide range of different theories of educational leadership and org. theory.
2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level.
3. Experience as a school administrator, institutional leader and/or teacher/instructor.
Other:
1. Familiarity using myCourses or similar online platforms
2. Familiarity with the online platform ZOOM is an asset
3. Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset
