The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker / Optimization Support specialist to join our Etobicoke team. This is not just a standard material handling role; this position serves as a "boots-on-the-ground" champion for our upcoming digital-first transition. The ideal candidate will combine strong traditional warehousing skills with the adaptability required to support the integration of a new, complex Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute precision warehouse picking, receiving, packing, and inventory flow management safely and efficiently.
· Assist operations leads in the integration, testing, and rollout of our new Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Apply continuous process improvement strategies to optimize daily storage and retrieval cycles.
· Act as a bridge between legacy distribution workflows and modern, digitized automation protocols.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counting initiatives.
· Collaborate effectively within a diverse, multi-cultural, and Asian-centric workforce to ensure operational goals are met safely.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Proven experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or supply chain logistics.
· Exposure to, or hands-on experience with, advanced warehousing solutions, ERPs, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in process optimization.
· Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
