Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Sports Facility Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for athletes, visitors, and staff.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all common areas within our sports complex, including common areas, washrooms, and change rooms. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create an optimal experience for everyone using the facility. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of common areas, washrooms, and change rooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and high-touch surfaces
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Restock cleaning and bathroom supplies
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout the facility
- Report any damages, repairs, or supply needs to management
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset but not required
