MJ Express is seeking a motivated and results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to join our growing team. If you have a passion for sales, thrive on building long-term customer relationships, and understand the transportation and logistics industry, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Logistics Sales Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, develop customized transportation solutions, and work closely with our operations team to ensure exceptional service for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and decision-makers.
- Identify customer transportation needs and present customized logistics solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
- Negotiate rates and close profitable business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Dispatch and Operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Monitor market trends, lane opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Work toward monthly and annual sales targets.
- Represent MJ Express professionally at customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience (transportation or logistics preferred).
- Knowledge of the trucking and freight industry strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) sales
- Cross-border transportation
