We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking General Construction Labourer to join our team. We primarily work in the agricultural construction sector, completing a wide variety of projects throughout Eastern Ontario.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a team. The successful candidate will assist with multiple phases of construction and will have opportunities to grow into a more skilled and leadership-focused role.
Duties may include:
- Concrete forming, placing, and finishing
- Framing and general carpentry
- Roofing
- Finish carpentry
- Site preparation and layout
- Job-site cleanup and organization
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Operating hand and power tools
- Assisting skilled tradespeople and equipment operators
- Reading and following blueprints and construction plans
- Following workplace safety procedures
- Completing other general construction duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Concrete, framing, roofing, or carpentry experience is considered an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift construction materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are preferred
- Willingness to work longer hours during busy construction periods
- Willingness to learn, grow, take on responsibility, and develop into a leadership role
Compensation:
Pay will be based on the candidate’s experience, abilities, and overall skill level. Candidates who demonstrate strong construction knowledge, reliability, leadership potential, and the ability to work independently may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
