Vision Truck Group is currently seeking a reliable and professional AZ Driver to join our team at our Stoney Creek location.
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer and company vehicles. The successful candidate will move customer and stock units between customer locations, our Stoney Creek dealership, and other locations within the Vision Truck Group dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from customer locations and our Stoney Creek dealership
- Transfer stock units and other vehicles between locations within the Vision Truck Group dealer network
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after transport
- Ensure vehicles are handled safely and professionally while in your care
- Maintain clear communication with the Service Department and other dealership personnel regarding pickups, deliveries, and scheduling
- Follow all applicable transportation, safety, and company policies
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and other Vision Truck Group locations
- Perform other driving and vehicle-related duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario AZ driver's licence
- Clean driving abstract
- Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and business needs
- Experience operating a variety of commercial trucks is considered an asset
Schedule
The regular schedule for this position is:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This is a full-time position averaging 45 hours per week. Overtime and additional hours may be required as business needs change.
Compensation
$25.11 to $29.53 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
This is an ideal position for an experienced AZ driver who enjoys driving but is looking for a consistent, local, Monday-to-Friday position. The majority of the work involves moving customer and dealership vehicles rather than traditional freight hauling.
You will play an important role in supporting our customers and dealership operations by ensuring trucks are picked up, delivered, and transferred safely and efficiently.
