Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher to instruct Math and English programs for elementary and intermediate students. Duties
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Math and English tailored to elementary and intermediate levels
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Utilize computer skills to prepare instructional materials and incorporate technology into lessons
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure cohesive program delivery
- Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods as necessary
- Monitor attendance, participation, and behavioral progress of students during sessions
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting
- Strong knowledge of Math, English, and classroom management techniques
- Experience with special education or working with diverse learning needs is a plus
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the use of educational software and online resources
- Classroom experience or teaching certification is preferred but not mandatory for all applicants
- Passion for education, patience, and excellent communication skills

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
