Business Services Team Member – Commercial Sales & Account Development
Alberta Carpet & Furnace Cleaning (ACFC)
Full-Time, Monday–Friday (No evenings, no weekends)
Competitive wage based on experience (plus company health benefits)
Who We Are
Alberta Carpet & Furnace Cleaning has been trusted in Alberta homes and businesses since 1981 with a fleet of 25+ trucks and crews serving Edmonton and area. We're a fast-paced, tight-knit team that takes pride in our work—and in each other. We promote from within, invest in our people, and are proud leaders in our industry.
We are actively expanding our commercial division, and we need a driven sales professional to grow with us.
The Role
As a Business Services Team Member, you will be the vital link between new commercial opportunities and the operations team that delivers the work. This is primarily an inside sales and account management role, but you will also represent ACFC at local industry events, networking functions, and community activities a few times a year.
You will be responsible for qualifying leads, uncovering needs, presenting solutions, and closing sales while ensuring our commercial clients receive a 5-star experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead Qualification & Booking: Intercept incoming phone and email booking requests. Pre-qualify requests for estimates to determine the scope, timing, and budget—ensuring we focus on winning viable work, not just writing quotes.
- Pipeline & Estimate Follow-Up: Manage your sales pipeline in our software, consistently following up on open estimates with the ultimate goal of booking the job.
- Account Retention & Up-Selling: Conduct proactive outbound retention calls to existing clients due for their next service. Perform post-job "Happy Checks" to ensure client satisfaction and secure immediate rebookings.
- Sales Administration: Accurately log client details, purchase orders, and special notes. Handle pre-job confirmations, process same-day client payments, and issue invoices seamlessly.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with operations regarding required crew orientations or specialized training for upcoming commercial projects to ensure a smooth job handoff.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently following our defined company sales process and hitting monthly revenue goals.
- Maintaining high close rates on estimates while minimizing administrative errors.
- Ensuring a seamless booking and service experience for both internal teammates and external customers.
- Actively participating in continuous improvement (LEAN) to optimize team processes and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales, account management, business development, or client-facing experience.
- Mindset: A natural "hunter" mentality with an ownership mindset. You are self-motivated, take responsibility for your pipeline, and are energized by finding new business.
- Skills: Strong active listening skills and high emotional intelligence. You can read the room, understand complex customer challenges, and confidently ask for the sale.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for phone calls, professional emails, and face-to-face networking.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing computers, CRM systems (like HubSpot), and booking software.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage or salary based on your experience.
- Comprehensive company health benefits.
- A stable Monday-to-Friday schedule—**no evenings, no weekends**.
- A real career path with a growing division where you can make a visible impact.
