Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PPF (Paint Protection Film) Installer to join our automotive customization team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive film installation, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles to enhance their appearance and protect their paint, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive protection solutions. Prior dealership experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with hand and power tools are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas prior to film application
- Measure, cut, and fit paint protection film accurately to various vehicle models
- Install PPF using appropriate techniques to ensure seamless coverage and durability
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to assist with installation processes
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, ensuring no bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting and the use of mechanical tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold company standards
Skills
- Proven experience with dealership or automotive repair environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle components and repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, squeegees, and measuring devices
- Ability to operate power tools safely during installation procedures
- Experience with heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials or vehicle parts
- Strong attention to detail for precise fitting and flawless finish of PPF applications
- Knowledge of automotive mechanics is a plus for understanding vehicle surfaces and contours
- Excellent problem-solving skills to adapt techniques for different vehicle models
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
