Partners Community Health (PCH) is a new not-for-profit organization, focused on bringing healthcare services together around the needs of people living in Mississauga and West Toronto. PCH currently operates two new state-of the-art LTC homes and community hub in West Mississauga. The new homes have a combined 632-beds and be part of PCH’s larger strategy that introduce innovative and inclusive programs and services and new models of care delivery. Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Advisor is a 3-month contract position responsible for leading a comprehensive review and design of the organization's corporate services model. This senior-level role will assess current structures, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop a clear roadmap for implementing an integrated corporate services framework that supports the organization's long-term strategic goals.
The Executive Advisor will work closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and operational staff to evaluate existing functions, define future-state requirements, and establish roles, responsibilities, and governance structures that support continued growth. In addition, the successful candidate will support the development of clinical operations process documentation and workflow design to ensure strong alignment between corporate services and frontline care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Current State Assessment
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing corporate services activities, processes, and organizational structures.
- Map current workflows, responsibilities, and informal support functions across the organization.
- Review organizational documents including strategic plans, budgets, policies, job descriptions, and operational reports.
- Interview leaders, managers, and key staff to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Assess organizational gaps, duplication of effort, risks, and opportunities for improved efficiency and coordination.
- Assess and document clinical operations processes, workflows, and care delivery pathways to ensure consistency and integration with corporate support functions.
2. Corporate Services Model Design
- Define the full scope of corporate services functions required to support a non-profit organization operating long-term care homes and seniors' programs, including:
- Human Resources
- Finance
- Information Technology
- Communications
- Quality & Risk Management
- Strategic Planning
- Facilities Management
- Procurement
- Clarify interdependencies between corporate functions and operational programs.
- Develop a proposed organizational structure, including reporting relationships and service delivery models.
- Create detailed role descriptions and accountabilities for corporate services positions.
- Recommend governance and decision-making structures that promote accountability, effectiveness, and organizational alignment.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Leadership
- Engage leaders and staff throughout the organization to validate findings and co-design solutions.
- Facilitate interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions to ensure broad participation and buy-in.
- Communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Support the CEO in preparing presentations and materials for the Board of Directors, funders, and external stakeholders as required.
4. Implementation Planning
- Develop a phased implementation roadmap with timelines, priorities, resource requirements, and sequencing.
- Identify quick wins, foundational initiatives, and longer-term structural changes.
- Recommend change management strategies to support successful implementation and adoption.
- Establish performance measures and success indicators for the future corporate services model.
5. Strategic Advisory Support to the CEO
- Provide strategic advice on organizational design, capacity building, and corporate governance.
- Share best practices related to corporate services models within healthcare, long-term care, seniors' services, and non-profit organizations.
- Support executive decision-making and organizational prioritization throughout the engagement.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications and Experience
- Senior executive leadership experience within long-term care, seniors' services, healthcare, or similarly complex organizations.
- Demonstrated experience designing, leading, or transforming multi-functional corporate services portfolios, including Human Resources, Finance, Communications, Quality & Risk, and related functions.
- Proven background in organizational design, capacity building, management consulting, or organizational transformation.
- Experience within healthcare, long-term care, seniors' services, or the non-profit sector is strongly preferred.
- Strong facilitation, interviewing, stakeholder engagement, and consensus-building skills.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism (IDEAA), with experience incorporating equity principles into organizational design and workforce planning.

Salary Range: $85/hour - $97/hour
