LINE COOK
Strathcona Beer Co. is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team at Strathcona North in Lonsdale Quay.
This is an excellent opportunity for a cook who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, takes pride in preparation and organization, and wants to be part of a fast-paced kitchen focused on quality food and great hospitality. This role is heavily prep-focused during the week, while also supporting lunch, dinner, happy hour, events, and weekend service.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and able to step onto any station when needed.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
- Execute menu items consistently during service
- Support all stations including fry, grill, salads, and plating
- Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with special events, feature menus, and seasonal offerings
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong knife skills and prep experience
- Ability to work independently and manage prep priorities
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a team-first mindset
- Food Safe certification considered an asset
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
