Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing dishwashing duties promptly
- Ensure all items are stored correctly after cleaning to facilitate quick access for staff
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds when necessary
