Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chamber Maid to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleaning and hospitality standards.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, windows, and furniture, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens as needed
- Change bed linens and make beds to maintain a neat appearance
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces in assigned areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Prior experience in hospitality or custodial roles is desirable but not mandatory
