Payroll Administrator

Looking for your next opportunity in payroll? Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on an 18-month full-time contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and within strict deadlines.
- Calculate payroll deductions, benefits, and statutory remittances.
- Process Records of Employment (ROEs) and submit them to Service Canada.
- Complete payroll account reconciliations and payroll accounting functions.
- Respond professionally to employee and departmental payroll inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate payroll records while supporting a collaborative team environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience in a large organization (3,000+ employees preferred).
- Experience with payroll accounting, government remittances, and reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using payroll software and reporting tools, including Crystal Reports and Excel add-ins, is considered an asset.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- A team-oriented professional with exceptional attention to detail.
