Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to support construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites or work areas
- Perform general cleaning and site maintenance to ensure safety and organization
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding, lifting, or moving tools and materials as needed
- Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, barricades, or other necessary equipment
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Perform basic demolition or construction tasks under supervision
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and tools
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on job site location
