About CRC
CRC Integrative Therapies is an established multidisciplinary clinic in Etobicoke providing integrated services for children and families, including Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, ABA, psychotherapy, sensory-based intervention and developmental services.
We are expanding with CRC MOTION – Integrated Health & Rehabilitation, a new clinical space designed to provide rehabilitation, functional development and adaptive movement services for children and adults.
We are looking for a Registered Physiotherapist who is interested in helping us develop this new area of the clinic while building a flexible pediatric and adult caseload.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a Physiotherapist who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment and is interested in both rehabilitation and functional movement.
The Physiotherapist may work with pediatric clients presenting with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Cerebral palsy
- Down syndrome
- Developmental delays
- Gross motor delays
- Balance and coordination difficulties
- Gait and mobility challenges
- Postural control difficulties
- Muscle weakness and reduced endurance
- Motor planning difficulties
- Other neurological or developmental conditions
The Physiotherapist may also provide assessment and treatment to adults with:
- Musculoskeletal pain and injuries
- Mobility limitations
- Postural concerns
- Strength and balance deficits
- Orthopaedic conditions
- Functional limitations
- Rehabilitation needs
- Recovery following injury or surgery
Experience with both pediatric and adult populations is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong experience in one area and an interest in expanding their practice will also be considered.
CRC MOTION Adaptive Movement Program
A unique component of this position is the opportunity to participate in the development of the CRC MOTION Adaptive Movement & Motor Development Program.
The program is designed for children who benefit from additional support with gross motor development, balance, coordination, mobility, strength, endurance, body awareness, motor planning and functional participation.
The Physiotherapist may contribute to:
- Initial motor and functional assessments
- Identification of gross motor and mobility goals
- Development of individualized exercise recommendations
- Adaptation of activities according to each child's physical abilities
- Recommendations related to strength, balance, gait, mobility, posture and endurance
- Periodic reassessment and program review
- Collaboration with Occupational Therapists and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Clinical guidance to staff implementing approved activities within the program
Participation in CRC MOTION program development, assessments, consultation or staff training outside regular patient treatment sessions will be pre-approved and compensated separately.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments.
- Establish individualized, functional and measurable treatment goals.
- Develop and implement evidence-informed treatment plans.
- Provide individual Physiotherapy treatment for pediatric and/or adult clients.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans when clinically indicated.
- Provide appropriate home exercise programs and caregiver/client education.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate clearly with clients, parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Behaviour Analysts, Instructor Therapists and other professionals when clinically appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning where appropriate.
- Maintain consent, privacy, documentation and professional standards in accordance with Ontario requirements and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
QualificationsRequired
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Professional liability insurance meeting College requirements.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check for work involving pediatric clients.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-informed, client-centred and family-centred care.
Preferred
- Experience in pediatric Physiotherapy.
- Experience working with children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome or other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Experience with gross motor development, gait, balance, mobility and postural control.
- Experience in adult musculoskeletal and/or orthopaedic rehabilitation.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary clinic.
- Experience developing individualized exercise or functional movement programs.
- Experience with neurological rehabilitation is an asset.
Compensation
Independent Contractor – 60% of collected professional fees.
Based on the current CRC MOTION fee schedule, compensation is expected to be approximately $60–$80 per completed clinical service, depending on the service and duration.
Additional pre-approved work related to CRC MOTION assessments, program development, interdisciplinary consultation or staff training may be compensated separately.
Schedule
This is a flexible Independent Contractor position.
We are initially seeking approximately 1–2 clinical blocks per week, with preference for:
- Afternoon availability
- Evening availability
- Saturday availability
The Physiotherapist determines their availability and CRC schedules clients within mutually agreed clinical blocks.
There is no guaranteed minimum caseload or number of paid hours at the beginning of the contract. Compensation is based on completed professional services.
Additional clinical blocks may be added as the caseload develops.

Independent Contractor Model
The Physiotherapist determines their professional availability and may provide services to other clinics, organizations or through their own practice.
CRC provides referrals according to client demand and available caseload. No minimum number of patients or hours is guaranteed.
Compensation is based on completed professional services rather than reserved availability alone.
