Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Halton Hills, ON
Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
Afternoon shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners while meeting productivity targets
- Verify SKUs, quantities, and product condition to ensure order accuracy
- Pack, label, and prepare orders according to customer and company requirements
- Perform quality checks and order verification to maintain high service standards
- Stage completed orders in designated areas and maintain an organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse security protocols
- Maintain housekeeping standards (5S) and report any safety concerns or hazards promptly
What's Needed?
- Previous warehouse experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards
- Ability to work well in a busy, noisy environment
- High school diploma or GED required; prior warehouse experience preferred but not required
