Responsibilities
- Operate excavators for excavation, trenching, and grading tasks on construction sites.
- Work safely around municipal utilities and underground infrastructure.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the excavator to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to execute projects efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to construction site regulations.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans to guide excavation work.
- Assist in site preparation and cleanup as needed.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in municipal utilities, roadwork, and commercial site development.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
- Knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation in construction environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Excavator Operator certification and relevant licenses.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to commute reliably to Windsor, NS, or plan to relocate before starting work.
