THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re seeking a passionate, results-driven Bar Manager to lead our St Albert location. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and understands that consistency, culture, and attention to detail are what elevate great bars above the rest.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Bar Operations & Guest Experience
- Lead a seamless, high-volume bar operation with a focus on quality, speed, and consistency
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience through every interaction
- Maintain top-tier standards in beverage quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health & safety regulations
- Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism and urgency
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Create schedules that support service excellence while managing labour effectively
- Foster a positive, accountable, and energetic team culture
- Lead by example — coaching, mentoring, and elevating team performance daily
Beverage Program & Financial Performance
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control for all bar operations
- Manage bar-related P&L, including beverage cost, waste reduction, and profitability
- Collaborate with ownership and leadership on cocktail development, features, and promotions
- Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and payroll practices
WHO YOU ARE
- 3–5+ years of bar or restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
- A strong leader who builds trust with both guests and team members
- Financially savvy, with a solid understanding of beverage costing, labour, and profitability
- Calm under pressure, decisive, and solutions-focused
- Passionate about cocktails, wine, and hospitality (experience with Spanish wines or cuisine is an asset)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
