We are seeking a dedicated and reliable DZ Driver to join our clients team for DZ local P&D out of Mississauga, ON.
Job Specifics
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift - Start time approx 7am
- Approximately 40-50 Hrs per week
- Straight truck 24-26ft, manual transmission
- $25/Hr
- LTL deliveries, average 4-5 deliveries per day
- Use of power walkie or other delivery equipment
- Must be comfortable with physical duties, and delivering with equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Skills
- 3 Years of Verifiable Commercial DZ driving experience
- Experience with city p&d
- Experienced with manual transmission
- Clean abstract and CVOR
- Proven experience in DZ LTL deliveries with a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Familiarity and experience using a tailgate and power walkie
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
