Multi-Build Solutions Group & StarLine Sales Ltd. are seeking dynamic and skilled Carpenter(s) / Construction Technician(s) to join our vibrant construction team. We specialize in the supply, installation, service and maintenance of fabric-covered building structures. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks that bring projects to life. From reading detailed blueprints to performing precise installations, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship across diverse construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our construction initiatives.
Duties
Construct, assemble, wooden framing, site foundations, concrete forms, and anchoring systems for fabric-covered buildings and outbuildings.
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Perform physical site preparation, layout, and installation on commercial premises, storage structures, and job sites.
- Collaborate with team members on site safety protocols and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
- Estimate project costs by assessing materials needed and planning efficient workflows for carpentry tasks.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks requiring stamina and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple project responsibilities.
Experience
- Journey-level Carpenter certificate or equivalent years of proven experience in commercial, industrial or residential framing and construction.
- Proven hands-on experience in carpentry or construction roles with a strong understanding of building techniques.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material procurement practices.
- Ability to perform rebar installation, framing, drywall finishing, plumbing connections, electrical wiring or repairs is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
- Valid Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, and Telehandler tickets are an asset
- Class 5 Driver's Licence
