DESCRIPTION
The Technical Production Supervisor is a role that brings depth of knowledge in equipment set-up, troubleshooting, minor repairs and adjustments as well as operator supervision and production relief support as required. The Technical Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and ERP system processes. This role leads a team of production technicians, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures accurate and timely documentation. Attention to detail is critical; a quality, safety and productivity mindset is paramount and interpersonal / communication skills must be well developed.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production technicians to meet production schedules and performance targets
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Perform and oversee hands-on line setup, changeovers, and startup activities to ensure equipment is properly configured, production-ready and operating efficiently
- Coordinate and support routine line maintenance and minor equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Maintain production records, logbooks, and documentation
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timelines
- Utilize and maintain data integrity within the ERP system for production orders, inventory transactions, and reporting
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure competency and adherence to procedures
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and optimize operations
- Enforce workplace health and safety policies and promote a culture of safety and compliance
- Support audits (internal and external) and ensure readiness at all times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality
- Assist with production planning and staging of production materials
- Perform other tasks as necessary and as directed by the Production Manager.
- Report any issues to management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of GMP, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with production line setup, changeovers, and basic maintenance activities

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
