Key Responsibilities Vehicle Preparation
- Wash and clean vehicles upon arrival before repairs begin.
- Pressure wash, hand wash, rinse, and dry vehicles.
- Install seat covers and steering wheel covers to protect vehicle interiors.
- Assist with pre-scan preparation.
- Photograph vehicles before repairs and upload photos to the company management system.
- Notify production staff when vehicles are ready for processing.
Vehicle Detailing & Delivery
- Perform complete interior and exterior detailing before vehicle delivery.
- Vacuum carpets, seats, trunk, and floor mats.
- Clean dashboards, door panels, centre consoles, windows, mirrors, door jambs, cup holders, pedals, and storage compartments.
- Wash and dry vehicle exteriors.
- Clean wheels and wheel wells.
- Apply tire dressing.
- Remove polish residue and fingerprints.
- Perform final quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards.
- Photograph completed vehicles and upload documentation.
- Ensure all customer belongings are returned to the vehicle.
Facility Cleaning
- Clean customer reception area, offices, desks, waiting area, and coffee station.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms.
- Sweep and mop office floors.
- Empty office and shop garbage bins.
- Clean windows, walls, entrance doors, and common areas.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
Shop Maintenance
- Sweep and wash shop floors daily.
- Organize equipment and work areas.
- Keep the wash bay clean and organized.
- Remove garbage and debris from the shop and property.
- Assist with basic exterior property maintenance, including litter pickup, sweeping sidewalks, and seasonal grounds maintenance.
Quality & Safety
- Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism.
- Report any damage or quality concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive detailing experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Success in This Role

- Maintain a clean and professional facility before customers arrive.
- Ensure all incoming vehicles are properly cleaned, protected, photographed, and prepared for production.
- Deliver vehicles that are exceptionally clean and ready for customer pickup.
- Maintain organized shop work areas throughout the day.
- Report issues promptly and contribute to a safe, efficient workplace.
This is a full-time position within a busy collision repair facility where quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
