Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Support & Inclusion Worker/ECE for a summer contract (Up to 10 weeks) to assist in creating an inclusive and engaging environment for young children enrolled in our Summer Care Program. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education, inclusion and working directly with children to foster their development and confidence.
Essential Skills:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or equivalent (preferred);
- Experience working with children requiring individualized support; and Behavioral Intervention an asset.
- Able to develop and implement individualized programming that fosters inclusive learning and activities.
- Able to assist in the provision of childcare at the Early Learning and Care Centre operated by Dandelion Early Learning and Childcare Centre;
- Ability to supervise and interact with children between the ages of 5 years to 12 years of age;
- Must be motivated, professional, organized and time oriented.
- Must be responsive and adaptive to continually shifting needs and situations.
- Teamwork abilities essential.
*Contract Information:
- Contract dependent on child’s enrolment within Childcare Program.
- Contract could guarantee up to 37.5 hours per week for the duration of Summer Care, dependent on child's enrollment.
- Completing the NB "Benefits of Inclusion" course is mandatory.
Pay: $19.27-$27.79 per hour
