Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to safely transport passengers between designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and timely transportation services within our organization, contributing to overall operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, lights, and other mechanical components.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the shuttle vehicle to ensure optimal operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers using clear language and professional demeanor.
- Follow scheduled routes and adhere to designated pick-up and drop-off points accurately and on time.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to maintenance personnel for resolution.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in English with passengers and team members.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate licensing required depending on vehicle type.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance or basic repairs is a plus but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our transportation team, ensuring safe, efficient, and courteous service for all passengers.
