WE ARE HIRING "Recruitment Specialist (6-Month Contract)"
Position Summary:
As the Recruitment Specialist, your primary responsibilities revolve around managing full-cycle recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer administration, and onboarding coordination. Additional responsibilities include partnering with Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs, coordinating recruitment activities and interview processes, maintaining candidate communications, supporting internship and work placement programs, representing the company at recruitment events and job fairs, managing recruitment-related documentation and reporting, supporting employer branding initiatives, and contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and HRIS (ADP) recruitment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities from requisition intake through onboarding, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer administration, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs, review job requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking opportunities, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Review resumes, conduct candidate screenings and interviews, and provide hiring recommendations to Hiring Managers.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, maintain candidate communications, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment verification activities as required.
- Prepare employment offers and assist with offer negotiations and acceptance processes.
- Represent the company at job fairs, career events, networking functions, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, government agencies, and external partners to support recruitment and internship programs.
- Coordinate internship and work placement programs, including candidate selection, onboarding, administration, and program reporting.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and HR policy training to ensure successful employee integration.
- Prepare, maintain, and update recruitment, onboarding, and employee records while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and administration of recruitment-related functions within the ADP HRIS platform.
- Coordinate with ADP representatives, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding system improvements, testing, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare hiring reports to support workforce planning, management reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support employer branding, recruitment marketing activities, and talent attraction campaigns to strengthen the company's presence in the employment market.
Education / Certification / License:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources is an asset.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven experience managing recruitment activities from requisition intake through onboarding.
- Experience sourcing candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking events, and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Experience supporting internship, co-op, or work placement programs is preferred.
- Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience coordinating recruitment projects, job fairs, employer branding initiatives, and talent attraction programs is considered an asset.
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition best practices, employment legislation, and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, sourcing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing business priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $52,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
