Senior Accountant

What You'll Do
- Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for a portfolio of digital commerce clients.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, variance analyses and actionable business insights.
- Lead continuous process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Develop and maintain reconciliations, reporting packages and regulatory reporting.
- Identify financial risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Partner with IT and business teams to build robust reporting and data solutions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial analysis.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Participate in system implementations and special projects.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (financial services, fintech or high-volume environments preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills; AI, SQL, Power BI or automation experience is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes.
