Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations within our busy food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee food presentation and quality control during service to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies, managing staff schedules, and achieving operational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced food industry environment is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, serving protocols, and the food industry landscape.
- Barista experience or background in beverage preparation is considered an asset.

Pay: $18.25-$22.25 per hour
