Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and prompt response to requests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in upselling or suggestive selling techniques is beneficial
- Previous hospitality or guest services experience will support success in this role

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
