Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Skilled Furniture Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bring craftsmanship, precision, and creativity to the creation and restoration of high-quality furniture pieces. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide furniture construction and restoration projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently to shape, assemble, and finish furniture components
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and other construction-related tasks as needed for custom furniture or structural elements
- Install cabinetry, conduct restoration work on antique or damaged furniture pieces, and handle cabinet installation projects with precision
- Execute construction painting, caulking, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical work, and heavy lifting tasks to support comprehensive project completion
- Measure materials accurately using schematics and blueprints; estimate project timelines and materials needed for manufacturing or restoration jobs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, furniture making or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of construction painting, caulking techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, roofing basics, masonry skills including rebar installation
- Experience with cabinetry installation and furniture assembly; familiarity with restoration processes is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physical stamina for long periods of standing or working at heights as required
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship; handyman experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
