POSITION SUMMARY
The Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator / Lead Shipper Receiver plays a key role in supporting our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, organizing, and shipping materials throughout our facility and yard while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Safely load and unload materials, equipment, and products from trucks and trailers.
· Operate heavy-duty forklifts in both indoor and outdoor environments throughout all seasons.
· Move raw materials and finished products to designated warehouse, yard, and production locations.
· Prepare products for shipment by palletizing, packaging, and organizing materials.
· Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying received goods.
· Identify and report damaged products, shortages, or quality concerns.
· Transport materials to production workstations as required.
· Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and lifting equipment and report maintenance requirements.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs.
· Assist with shipping documentation and material handling activities.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, warehouse, and shipping areas.
· Assist with snow removal, yard maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
· Train other forklift operators as required.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Work collaboratively and respectfully with production, assembly, and engineering teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Valid forklift certification.
· Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience, preferably with heavy-duty equipment.
· Shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Good organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Excellent physical condition and coordination.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
As part of our selection process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical forklift operating assessment. This hands-on evaluation is designed to assess each candidate's ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, demonstrate proper material handling techniques, and follow safe operating practices in a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be selected based on a combination of their experience, interview, practical forklift assessment, safety awareness, and overall fit with the NAMCO team.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (negotiable as per relevant experience and performance)
