Overview

In this role you are responsible for accurately and efficiently conducting roles such as: receiving & shipping of day-to-day goods interbranch/ site; parts pickups and spare parts and filters management. Employee is expected to maintain an organized stock room and work in collaboration with other members of the Fleet department/ branch to properly serve our business needs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving all products: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift.
- Determine method of shipment and prepare freight quotes and shipping documents
- Responsible for accurately picking orders, labeling, documenting, inventory control, shrink wrapping skids, and all other general duties
- Pull parts from inventory and supply to mechanics and field maintenance
- Ensuring product that requires storage is placed in the appropriate area, including placing any product that is for stock onto the shelves in the proper bin location
- Ongoing inventory management & organization of On-hand Filters & building of equipment service kits
- Ownership of the spare parts room. Ongoing inventory management with cycle and full inventory count.
- Maintaining and cleaning warehouse and neatly assembling products on shelves, including sweeping & waste collection
- Ensure Shop lubricants & consumables are readily restocked, organized, and labeled
- WHMIS & TGD compliance & SDS binders up to date
- Pick up & deliveries of parts/ oil samples in the Leduc/ Edmonton area
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying
- Perform tasks requested by the Fleet Procurement Lead and department/ branch management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures in relation to both safety and quality
- Perform other various administration, inventory and warehouse tasks as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE SKILLS
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License, with reliable transportation to work.
- Experience with day-to-to Day shipping & receiving of goods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions, must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Experience working with inventory management (cycle counts and inventory counts) Attention to detail with strong planning, organizational and communication skills
- Experience operating a forklift or skid steer would be an asset
- Experience working under minimal supervision. Demonstrate an ability to take initiative and contribute to process improvement.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
