Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Carpet Tile Installer to join our team for a commercial installation project in downtown. The ideal candidate has experience installing carpet tile, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe job site.
Responsibilities
- Install carpet tiles according to project specifications and layout plans.
- Prepare and inspect flooring surfaces before installation.
- Measure, cut, fit, and align carpet tiles accurately.
- Apply adhesives and ensure proper tile placement.
- Complete seams, edges, corners, and transitions neatly.
- Remove and dispose of installation debris and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work efficiently while meeting project deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and other trades on site.
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing carpet tile is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial flooring installation methods.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut flooring materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, lift, and perform physical installation work for extended periods.
- Safety-conscious and professional on job sites.
