Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hospitality, customer service, and fast-paced event work. You’ll be responsible for serving guests behind the bar during events as well as assisting with front desk duties such as guest check-ins, inquiries, and general support.
Key Responsibilities
- Bartend and Bar Back during weddings and events (including high-volume service)
- Provide excellent customer service to guests throughout their stay or visit
- Handle front desk tasks including check-ins, guest inquiries, and phone/email communication
- Assist with light food preparation and basic kitchen support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and front desk areas
- Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Bartending and/or Bar Backing experience preferred (high-volume or event experience is an asset)
- Customer service or front desk experience is an asset
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Handlers certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and available to work evenings and weekends
