We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Orthodontic Lab & Sterilization Technician to join our busy orthodontic practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in organization and cleanliness, and wants to be part of a professional clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Orthodontic Lab
- Prepare and fabricate orthodontic appliances and retainers
- Assist with preparation of patient cases and laboratory work
- Trim, polish, and finish orthodontic appliances as required
- Assist with models, impressions/scans, and other laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate organization and tracking of lab cases
- Ensure laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and well maintained
- Ensure 3D printer is well maintained.
- Work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to ensure cases are prepared accurately and on time
Sterilization
- Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental/orthodontic instruments according to office protocols
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment
- Maintain sterilization logs and documentation
- Ensure instruments are properly stored and ready for patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area
- Follow all infection prevention and control standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a dental, orthodontic, or laboratory setting is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Commitment to infection prevention, cleanliness, and patient safety
- Willingness to learn orthodontic laboratory procedures
